Slaying the Hero Josée - Part 4 Quest Summary
You finally have the key to Josée's cocoon. It's time to go back to the present and to wake and eventually... slay her.
Slaying the Hero Josée - Part 4 Walkthrough
[1] Speak with Lou.
Now that you have defeated Metagen, it's time to meet up with Lou in the Confluence. She tells you about the weapon Josée gave you. The weapon is infused with Josée and Lise's powers and their pathos. This means that now you have the key to Josée's cocoon.
[2] Part ways with Josée.
She understands that you still have a mission to do. She gives you her summoning forma.
[3] Return to the Present.
Going back to the present, you see that the water is clear, no longer contaminated. You can only appreciate its beauty for a short time. You still need to go back to Josée's cocoon.
Optional: You can talk to the Elderly Revenant from before. He can still be found at the Outlook cemetery. He tells you that after you left, their base was attacked by Revenant Hunters. Josée was able to defeat them but regrettably went into a frenzy and destroyed the base. Due to what happened, she gouged out her eyes and lived in solitude. He also tells you that you can meet the others in the village.
[4] Head to the hero Josée's cocoon.
Fast travel to Josée's Outpost: Front Gate mistle and head toward the cocoon. Now, it's to slay the hero Josée!
Josée's first and second phases are pretty much the same. She just gets more aggressive in the second one.
SWORD SLASH
You need to watch out for her slash attack. This is a big sweep. You can see that she charges first, a flash, and then the slash. You can parry her the moment you see the flash.
STOMP ATTACK
Josée likes to stomp her feet and she can catch you from afar with it. Dodge away from the net.
When you defeat her, she then recognizes that it's you. During the cutscene, you will enter her memory. You will then see the Fading Bond. A bond similar to when you had the chance to save Noah, but you couldn't use it. Lou tells you that you can't alter the past with this. However, obtaining an item relevant to the character might just do the trick. You also receive Josée the Blind Hero's Blood Code. And this ends the quest, Slaying the Hero Josée.
