Between Paint and Past Quest Summary
Pushed down a well by a mysterious woman, the player ends up in a strange, unknown land. Where is this place? What comes next?
Between Paint and Past Walkthrough
[1] Complete the "In the Quiet of Night" Lost Chapter.
Following the fall into the well, the player must clear a Lost Chapter to progress the Main Story.
[2] Look for the thing from the Dream.
After finishing the prerequisite quest, go to the objective marker located near the Wayfarer.
The path ahead is blocked. Restore it by starting the "Desert Without Sails" Lost Chapter.
[3] Investigate the Fish Tank.
[4] Open the Painting Interface.
Click the "Unroll the Scroll" option below the Quest Objective.
[5] Inspect the Leaping Fish Scroll.
As the young wanderer opens the painting, it starts the story that unlocks "A Brief Respite".
