Water Treatment Plant (Grace) Full Walkthrough and Details | Resident Evil Requiem (RE9)

Grace and Emily run away into the Water Treatment Plant after the chaos at the Chapel. She needs to find a way to defeat The Girl (the Shadow Ghost) that is still pursuing them.

[1] Get to the Surface.

Continue through the hallways of the Water Treatment Plant until Grace and Emily reach the Storage Bay.

Grace decides to let Emily rest there for the meantime. Prepare before heading outside by saving progress using the Typewriter or looting nearby items.

[2] Restart the Power Distribution Units.

To stop The Girl for good, Grace plans to open the roof. She must head over to the Hatch Lever and try it out.

Grace realizes that she needs to restart three different power distribution units.

Similar to past encounters with The Girl, Grace must explore this area carefully, since this creature is relentlessly following her.

Restart the First Power Distribution Unit in the Storage Area.

Tip: Stun The Girl using the nearby Lamp.

Find the Second Power Distribution Unit in the Chemical Treatment. This one is stiff so Grace needs to bait the Girl to the lamp and stun her before attempting to turn the crank lever.

Tip: Grace can also use the Requiem to stun the monster. Players gets a Trophy for doing this successfully.

Retrieve the missing Crank Lever from the Filing Room.

Head to the Control Room, for the Third Power Distribution Unit. As Grace approaches the controls, the Girl bursts into the room. Stun her with the Requiem or lure her towards a lamp (if Grace is low on ammo) before attempting to attach the crank lever.

Return to the upper floor using the Elevator.

While Grace is heading back to the Hatch Lever, The Girl makes a final attempt to attack. Activate the nearby Lamp to scare it off.

[3] Open the Hatch on the Girl.

Finish the encounter by opening the roof hatch and exposing the monster to sunlight.

[4] Return to Emily.

Grace heads back to the Storage Bay and finds Emily unconscious.

This triggers the next quest: "Water Treatment Plant (Leon)".
