The Princess of Vermeil Quest Summary
Chapter One: Azuria
Vermeil insists that returning to the Sacrosanctum is the only solution to the crystallization, while Azuria wishes to honor the covenant.
Eleanor, the Princess of Vermeil, offers herself as a hostage to dissuade the queen and her aide Fiero from military aggression.
The protagonist and Eleanor then set out to slay an invasive monster to recover the egg of an endangered species.
The Princess of Vermeil Walkthrough
[1] Speak with Rudy.
After completing the "Gathering Storm" Quest, talk to Rudy to start the Peace Talk with Vermeil.

During a discussion regarding the conflict between Azuria and Vermeil, the tension starts to escalate.
Eleanor intervenes with a proposal to remain in Azuria as a political hostage.
[2] Head to the Melynx Emporium.
King Arken entrusts Eleanor to the Rangers once the meeting ends.
As her escort, show the Princess around the Azuria Castle Town and visit the Melynx Emporium.

[3] Set up a Camp.
Show Eleanor the ropes of how the Rangers operate! Go outside the Azuria Castle and follow the Quest Marker to locate a suitable place to camp.
[4] Defeat the Feral Yian Kut-Ku.
Once the team arrives at the area, they are attacked by a new Feral Monster, the Yian Kut-Ku.

Head to the marked location with Eleanor after making preparations.
Inspect the Shepherd Hare near the Sunpetal Plains: Path Catavan Stand.
Then, continue with the "Endangered Species" Quest.
