Top Basic Information
Except for shields, all pieces of armor provide an additional defense to your character. Every piece of armor has a Unique MOD. Make sure to check them if they match your playstyle. But of course, you can also wear any armor you want simply for aesthetic purposes.

 Soldier's Mail | 15 | Increases HP recovery from Healing Crystals. Using a Healing Crystal temporarily increases DEF. |
 Earthly Jacket | 20 | Increases DEF when in the vicinity of elite enemies or bosses and reduces the damage taken from them. |
 Guardian Jacket | 30 | Reduces the invincibility window of dodging. |
 Tanned Leather Mail | 15 | Increases maximum HP. |
 Hunter's Shirt | 20 | Reduces susceptibility to status effects. |
 Saint's Armor | 25 | Restores a portion of damage taken over time. Restoration amount is increased when HP is below a set percentage. |
 Thirteen Ordeals | 15 | Restores HP over time when it falls below a set amount. This effect can only activate once per quest. |
 Soaring Coat | 30 | Restores a set amount of HP when an enemy is defeated nearby. |
 Fleury Coat | 30 | Graduallu restores HP during Combat |
 Elder Pulse Vestments | 30 | Grants a barrier that nullifies one instance of damage after avoiding damage from enemy attacks for a set duration. |
 Cotton Shirt | 10 | Increases DEF based on the number of enemies nearby. |
 Soulforce Robe | 30 | Increase INT. If INT is 30 or higher, increases resistance to status effects. If INT is 60 or higher, DEF also increases. |
 Mistseeker | 45 | Grants a chance for damage taken to be reduced by 80%. The probability of this effect increases when HP falls below 50%. |
 Plate of Revival | 20 | Greatly increases DEF after taking damage from an enemy attack. This effect is temporary. |
 Constantan Plate | 35 | Increase the amount of barrier gauge gained |
 Hero's Attire | 50 | Increases Weapon EXP gain. While Hero's Boots are equipped, reduces damage taken, and increases HP recovery received and barrier durability. |
 Dreamgale | 40 | Increases normal attack speed and reduces stamina consumption, but increases damage taken. |
How to Get Tops
In Base Towns like Town of Beginnings, just look for the hammer icon to find the blacksmith. This is where you can craft your armor.
Take note of the materials for crafting. Check the stats and Unique MODs of the armor to see if it fits your playstyle.
