The Glenspore Grizzly is a fungal-covered bear first encountered at the end of the Within the Shadows quest. After making a meal out of the thief who stole Iori's items, the beast decides the team is next on the menu. Take it down before you turn into its next meal!
How to Beat Glenspore Grizzly Guide
[1] Grilled by a Grizzly.
Many of the Glenspore Grizzly's attacks can inflict the Burn debuff. Keep an eye on your status meter as it can stack rather quickly.
One of its claws will grow brightly before unleashing a powerful searing strike.
The boss briefly stands up before slamming the ground, releasing volatile powder that explode violently. Anyone caught in the blast will immediately have a Burning status.
It stands upright before spewing a fiery breath that sweeps across the area in front of it. Go behind and strike it during the attack.
[2] The Real Definition of a Bear Hug.
Roll backward or immediately strafe whenever it stands upright. Once its claws begin to glow, it will snatch the nearest target and send them flying.
[3] Keep the Pressure On and Outmuscle the Beast.
The beast is quite slow and can be easily staggered. Take advantage of this by chaining your Sword and Combination Skills to keep it locked down.

Upon defeat, the boss drops the following loot:

- 1 x Smooth Hide
- Assortment of weapons
