Genesis Configuration Abilities

The Genesis Configuration is Aidan's bread and butter throughout the game. It not only serves as the central puzzle key, but it also acts as a supplementary weapon you can utilize to gruesomely execute enemies. Combine your weapons with the hellish powers of the Box and make your enemies experience pleasure through suffering.

Puzzles

The Box is essential for navigating and solving various puzzles within the Labyrinth. Use it to progress through the maze and reshape it to unlock complex mechanisms.

Banish

At low health, a blue highlight appears around an enemy, signaling that they can be banished using the Box. Executing enemies this way not only refills the Suffering gauge but also heals a bit of health as well.

Telekinesis

Low on ammo? Try launching saw blades and railroad spikes at enemies instead and save yourself the hassle of rationing bullets. How about moving traps to make them collide with the unsuspecting targets? The Box grants you the ability of Telekinesis, allowing you to manipulate these deadly objects with ease.

Pyrokinesis

Fire is your friend. As the game progresses, the Box will allow you to absorb flames and shoot them at enemies. This is great for igniting explosive tanks and setting groups of enemies on fire. Keep in mind that this consumes Suffering and you'll need a nearby fire source to perform this ability.

Hellchains

This skill is learned later in the game and allows Aiden to summon extradimensional chains that immobilize and rip enemies apart. It is highly useful for keeping multiple opponents in one spot while picking them off with your weapons. Just remember that you'll need to have a fully charged Suffering bar to pull this off.
