How to get the Human All Along Ending
To get the Human All Along ending, all you have to do is stay behind and not go into the Void. It will take some time, but really you do not have to do anything as long as you do not cross over.
When does the choice happen?
The choice between the two endings of the game happens at the very end of the game. There is no need to pick up or get anything from before this part of the game; this choice is only determined here.
Do not worry about having to restart the game to get the other ending; there is one last save before the final sprint back to Sunny.
What happens in the ending?
In this ending, Aidan stays behind with Zora, who is surprised that he made this choice. While Aidan no longer has Sunny or an arm, he at least has a future that he hopes will be better than his old life. Zora asks if he can handle the unknown, but Aidan responds that he can.
