How to Use Hellchains

Hellchains serves as Aidan's ultimate attack. Using it will immediately kill multiple enemies all at once and deal huge damage against a boss.

Used to Attack

Fill your Suffering meter to max. This allows you to unleash the chains piercing your enemies and ripping them apart. Simply press the corresponding button/key for the Hellchains ability.

Check the Suffering Gauge

To summon the Hellchains, the Suffering gauge must be full. Fill this gauge by inflicting damage and executing enemies.

How to Unlock Hellchains

You unlock the Hellchains after being chased by the Chatterer.

During the hunt for Marlowe, Chatterbox chases Aidan. Aidan is led to a room full of enemies. Here, you will have the chance to inflict damage and kill enemies. This results to filling the Suffering gauge. Once full, you can unleash the Hellchains ripping apart your enemies.

What is the Genesis Configuration?

Genesis configuration is the puzzle box that allows you to perform certain abilities. This includes Telekinesis and Hellchains. To use the ability, you need to inflict Suffering on enemies. This means you have to deal damage or kill enemies to fill the Suffering meter of the Genesis configuration. To use the Hellchains, you need a FULL meter.
