List of All Tarstones
Mortal Shell 2 features 75 Tarstones for players to discover throughout the game. Once equipped to a compatible weapon or sidearm, each Tarstone can buff that gear's capabilities. Collect 73 to get the Stoned Trophy.
There are four Tarstone types to know: Combat, Infusion, Support, and Ability. Each one is tied to specific weapons or mechanics, so what you can equip depends on the type.

How to Upgrade Tarstones
Every Tarstone can level up to 4 times, growing stronger or shifting into a new effect. To upgrade, give Franz the Etching Needle: Allows players to enhance their Tarstones when they give it to Franz at the Marrow Keep. Quest Item.
Level 2 upgrades cost coins, but you'll also need enough experience first. Just equip a Tarstone and rack up kills to earn EXP toward its next level.
Where to Find the Etching Needle
Find the Etching Needle inside a chest just before the boss fight against the Magdalena, Lady of the Woods. Past the Tarblighted Shepherd where you meet Ruk, turn right to spot it.
