Streets of Paris Summary

After exploring Holy Innocents' Cemetery and obtaining the Lance, Rose returns to the Streets of Paris. She climbs the Prison Tower to defeat The Warrior, Joan of Arc. Doing so grants her Holy Light, an ability that lets her pass through Chaos Shards.

Streets of Paris Walkthrough (Chapter 3)

[1] Return to the Streets of Paris.

After obtaining the Lance in Holy Innocents' Cemetery, head back and make your way toward the Prison Tower. Take a shortcut through the Sewer Entrance.

Activate the drawbridge to cross to the far side.

Then activate it again so you can wall jump up to the second floor.

[2] Ascend the Prison Tower.

Enter the Guard Level, which is full of swinging axes and spike traps. Use the Arcane Whip on the grapple points, and watch for enemies as you climb.

Once you are back outside, interact with the drawbridge controls to enter the Guard Storehouse on the left.

Get to the second floor, open the drawbridge, and grapple your way to the Torture Level.

The Torture Level has many spike walls, so be careful when wall jumping. One platforming section is especially tough, so here's how to clear it.

Now exit back to the Prison Tower and keep going right to reach the Mirror of Life.

Go left and keep climbing. Eventually, Rose gets trapped in a room with two enemies. Defeat them and continue up.

At the Upper Tower, head to the top right to activate another drawbridge.

Jump across and activate the drawbridge on the far side.

When you reach the rooftop, The Warrior, Joan of Arc, appears.

[3] Defeat The Warrior, Joan of Arc.

Get ready for the boss fight. Watch her movements, avoid her attacks, and strike when she leaves herself open. Use the grapple points to reposition when the arena becomes dangerous. Check out our guide for more details.

After the fight, collect The Warrior's Key and The Warrior Arcana.

[4] Obtain Holy Light.

Leave the rooftop and descend the staircase. Keep heading down until a scene introduces Rose to Holy Light.

Holy Light lets Rose pass through Chaos Shards, which opens paths that were blocked before. Remember these routes when you return to earlier areas, including Holy Innocents' Cemetery.

With Holy Light unlocked, Rose can continue her journey and work toward opening the Gate to the Catacombs.
