Arcanas have MP Costs that you need to consider when using them.
The Arcanas are unlocked by finding their corresponding Tarot Card and fulfilling the condition.
List of Effects (Blessings) of Blood Spikes
Blood Spikes has the following Blessings:
- Applying the bleeding effect to an already bleeding enemy deals instant damage to it.
- Heals Rose 2% of her max health every time an enemy dies from bleeding.
- Bleeding enemies are slower and deal 25% less damage to Rose.
How to Unlock Blessing of Blood Spikes
You need to complete Works of Mercy to unlock Blessings of the Arcana. The Blessings for Blood Spikes can only be unlocked by fulfilling the following conditions:
- Kill 25 enemies from bleed-effect damage.
- Find 2 different dual blade-type weapons.
- Cause an enemy to bleed continuously for 10 seconds.
How to Get Blood Spikes
To get or unlock the Blood Spikes, you need to fulfill certain conditions from its corresponding Tarot Card.

The Occulist Tarot Card Location
The Occulist belongs to Carmilla, and you get it by defeating her. You find her waiting in the Observatory Room, the room at the top of the Library in Dracula's Castle.
Other Rewards
Besides the Arcana, defeating Carmilla also gives you:
- Aerial Rush
- Brauner's Paintbrush
Keep the paintbrush with you. You need it for The Artist's Tarot Card.
