List of All Demo Bosses (3)

The demo has a total of 3 bosses. Sasaki Ganryu and Daidara covers the two areas available: Kiyomizu-dera temple and Oni Refuge. Byakue serves as an additional boss when you meet the condition.

Unlock the Demo's Secret Boss

You can unlock the Secret Demo Boss by performing 10 Issen during the demo. You can find the Issen Counter on the bottom left of your screen.

Issen: Press your Attack Button Just Before Being Hit

You can dodge an attack and hit back with a deadly counter, but it requires even more precise timing than a parry or a Reflex Dodge.

How to Beat the Bosses - General Guide

Different attacks require different responses

The game introduces different responses for different attacks. Most of the attacks can be parried or blocked. Others need to be evaded. Performing the correct attack or defense will make the fight easier.

Learn the different attack patterns of the bosses. This includes when the boss dashes, strikes, or grabs you. It is important to know the basic mechanics of the game.

Learn Issen to deal deadly damage

A big part of the game is to perform an Issen. This attack deals a deadly counter against the boss. The only way to consistently perform it is to learn the attacks of the boss.

Enhanced Version of Bosses

Enhanced versions of Bosses are their aggressive versions. They can be in an enhanced state very early on during the fight.
