[1] Talk to the boy.
Go south of Yasaka Pagoda and talk to the children. One of the kids recognizes Musashi as the one who gave him an onigiri before he went off to fight the Yoshioka. He reveals the disciples were praying to the hanging monkeys... in order to kill Musashi.
Lady Murasaki says that the remaining disciples are at Rendaino.

[2] Face the Yoshioka disciples.
Go straight ahead.
The disciples have become Genma. Cut them down. They are a bit tanky, but focusing on them one at a time or using AoE skills with your Oni Armaments should make it a breeze.
