How to Beat Ifuu - Fearsome Gale
[1] Look for damage windows
Ifuu attacks relentlessly, but can either be parried or countered. Use this to your advantage to counterattack, or create openings where you can freely deal damage.
[2] Absorb the souls before Ifuu does
Letting Ifuu absorb the souls lets him build up rage, dealing increased damage and becoming faster.
[3] Be wary during the 2nd phase
Be extremely cautious of Ifuu's second phase. He unlocks new moves that can be devastating to someone unprepared to handle them. Use your healing during this part and continue to find counterattack opportunities to slowly chip away at his HP.
