How to Unlock Something in the Water

The mysteries of Kyoto are curious cases Lady Murasaki wants Musashi to investigate. The Mysteries are available after finishing the Main Quest What Lurks in the Shadows.
Requirements for Something in the Water
The Something in the Water mystery is available at the start of the Main Quest To Live is to Suffer. You must have also done the Mystery A Wife's Prayer to unlock this.
The Something in the Water Walkthrough
[1] Talk to the family.
Go to Kiyomizu-zaka Slope and talk to the child there. It turns out to be the boy whose father you saved from his own vengeance. He is accompanied by the now widow from A Wife's Prayer.

They all went to get water from the Otowa Waterfall, but something in the water has caused the man to fall sick. Lady Murasaki says the water there is famous for bringing fortune to people so it's curious that it would bring disease instead.
[2] Investigate the waterfall.
Go to Otowa Waterfall as seen below in Kiyomizu-dera Temple. You can talk to people on the way and they will be commenting on the waterfall.
Talk to the woman there. She offers to pour Musashi a drink from the waterfall and is then offended when he rude rejects her. Lady Murasaki says the waterfall is maintained by Yasahajin so maybe there is something going on them with them.
[3] Investigate Yashajin Hall.
Yashajin Hall is further into the temple grounds. Visit it and Musashi will find it entangled in the Genma threads.
Use Oni Vision to find where the threads lead and destroy the spiders making them. Use the Oni Bow for both of them.

Go back to Yashajin's Hall. It got unsealed but the water is still contaminated.
[4] Re-examine the waterfall.
Go back to the waterfall and Mushashi will find that Dokyo has made an appearance. Seems like she added something to the water. Kill the Genma she summoned.
Examine the water. It is no longer contaminated.

Solving this mystery will give you the following:
- Iron x 2
- Leather x 1
- Oni Stone x 2
- Inner Strength Charm x 1
