Rasho-gan Summary
Rasho-gan is a boss encountered in Eastern Kyoto during the main quest, Careful What You Wish For. Its body is covered in multiple arms that it can also use during combat.
Rasho-gan Attack Patterns
The following table lists each attack used by Rasho-gan in the first phase.

| Forward Slam |  It leaps towards the target with an overhead smash. |
| Four Projectiles |  It hurls four consecutive projectiles at the target. |
| Charged Slam |  It extends its blade and smashes the target from afar. |
| Charged Projectile |  It summons a bigger projectile that slowly tracks the target. |
| Double Swing |  It swings its sword twice at the target, occasionally followed by a Charged Slam. |
| Transform |  It transforms and grows even more arms. |
| Overhead Grab |  It extends its arms forward to grab the target. |
| Double Projectile |  It retreats and hurls two consecutive projectiles at the target. |
| Ceiling Drop |  It grabs a nearby structure and drops it on top of the target after a short charging time. |
After beating him in the first phase, Rasho-gan transforms further and summons a second blade.

How to Beat Rasho-gan
Learn its patterns and how to counter specific attacks.
Dodge right before it grabs you to perform a powerful counterattack.
When its stamina is depleted, it becomes vulnerable to Break Issen. Break its red parts to deal more damage and beat the boss faster. If you want to gain more Souls, break the purple parts instead.
Collecting enough Blue Souls during combat allows you to use your equipped Oni Weapon.
Learn to parry its attacks to create openings and deal damage while it's vulnerable. Doing this consistently will eventually deplete its stamina so you can perform Break Issen.
If you have deflect unlocked, you can also use that to deplete its stamina, but it will not be vulnerable to your attacks until then.
