Kyoto,Corrupted Summary
Kyoto has been overrun by Malice. Citizens are hiding in their homes, praying the Genma won't kill them. Takamura tasks Musashi with cleansing some of the nearby Rifts, since only then will he be able to talk to the slumbering Shizune in his gauntlet.

[1] Clear the Rifts
There are two Rifts you need to absorb, and you can choose either one since it won't affect the story. Just clear out the enemies that spawn first before you can absorb them.

[2] Speak to Takamura
Head back to Takamura and speak to him. After absorbing the Rifts, Shizuka Gozen wakes from her slumber. Takamura asks her why an Oni of her standing would be reduced to a soul in a gauntlet.
Shizuka explains that the Genma have overtaken Hell, and to escape, she hid inside the gauntlet. She elaborates that the Genma could only do this because of the man they imprisoned: Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a legendary commander and hero. He was also the one who took two Oni Gauntlets as war spoils, one of which is now in Musashi's possession.
Before Musashi heads out on his next quest, Takamura offers him assistance in understanding how the gauntlet works.
