You can get the Flashing Void during the quest, The Demon on the Mount when Musashi is heading to the mountain castle.
How to Use the Flashing Void
Press the assigned Oni Armament button when the Oni Power Gauge is sufficiently filled. The Oni Power Gauge is located at the bottom right of the screen.
Oni Armaments deplete the Oni Power Gauge in order to unleash special attacks.
Defeated enemies give more Red Souls
Enemies will give more Red Souls once they are defeated. Red souls are used for making various enhancements. If you want to grind more Red Souls, use the Flashing Void and defeat enemies with speed.
