A Chain of Kindness Walkthrough
[1] Find Sandy
Head to town and go to the staircase beside the orphanage. You'll find a crying Sandy who needs help!
She's skinned her knee after falling down. Fortunately, the elderly herbologist you helped during the beginning arrives to help comfort her. He says that if he had some prickly pear flesh, he could make a balm for the scrape. Elliot volunteers to get some and requests that the herbologist stay with Sandy. He agrees and sends Elliot off.
[2] Obtain Prickly Pear Flesh
Head for Eastern Eddartrayl. A prickly pear flesh can be found dropped by a cactus, so destroy one!
Once you've obtained the Pear Flesh, get back to Sandy!
[3] Speak with Sandy
Sandy's still crying, but fortunately you can help create the antidote to those tears. The old man helps alleviate the pain she has. Elliot thanks him for making medicine for the townspeople, and he says he started doing it because of his late wife.
She was from a long line of herbalists, and she was the one who owned the comb you found. She always helped other people, and he helped her in her work. She used to say one helping hand will inspire others to help, eventually making everyone connected. He's simply continuing her legacy.
Sandy is inspired to help others too when she grows up, and Elliot says she definitely will. The old man thinks so too, and says his wife would think the same.
