Spears
Spears pierce through enemies right in front of the player. They have some long-range capability and reach foes a bit further than other melee weapons can.
The special attack of the spear involves Elliot charging through in a straight line. This gets more powerful with more powerful spears as the charges increase, enabling more attacks in one special attack, accumulating the overall damage given to the enemy.
Later, we will go deeper into how to maximize the potential of using a spear.

Spear Magicites
Magicites are special gems that can help the player's weapon have added effects. Some magicite effects may be powerful but will have some consequence in exchange.
How to Acquire Magicites
Magicites can be acquired by finding them in chests in the overworld. Special 5-star Magicites can be locked in red chests behind special doors that can only be opened with the Leytstaf.
Magicites can also be obtained through the Magicite Shop. At first, before obtaining all types of weapons, the player can only get random magicites for all weapons for every 5 magicite fragments the player exchanges. Once obtaining all weapon types, the player can create magicities for specific weapons for every 10 magicite fragments.

Best Spear Magicite Combinations
Spears in the late game can be very good against boss enemies. As mentioned earlier, when using a highly rated spear, the player can charge the spear more times to accumulate hits on the enemy. It's a weapon where it's advisable to focus magicites on its special attack.
For some, the spear may be too slow in its attacks. They can use the magicite, Shallow Thrust to make it more like a traditional melee weapon with shorter and faster attacks.
The spear can be used in tandem with another weapon, most likely a faster weapon like the sword or the bow in order to maximize its damage. Shifting to another weapon after using the spear, the attack of the next weapon will increase with certain equipped magicites.
Lastly, the spear has special magicites that give extra damage if the player keeps their HP up. It'll be good to stock up on potions in order to heal, or to utilize the shield in order to avoid damage.
