A Far-Off Dream Summary
Elliot encounters a strange man named Flon who wants to cultivate the Eldertree so it can bloom. This is so he can realize his dream of having a picnic under it with friends old and new. The problem is, the area is filled with Beasts. Elliot takes it upon himself to vanquish them!
How to Unlock A Far-Off Dream
You must have completed the Doorway Ruins dungeon during the Age of Magic.

A Far-Off Dream Walkthrough
[1] Meet with Flon
A strange man named Flon has been tending to the fields around Hiyotori. He can be found before the bridge to the Eldertree. Despite the danger, he says he can avoid the beasts easily.
But since the area around the Eldertree is filled with beasts, he can't tend to it. He asks Elliot for help, since Elliot says he's equipped for this kind of thing.
[2] Defeat 8 Monsters
Defeat the 8 monsters around the area. They shouldn't be too much trouble at this point!
[3] Hear Flon's Dream
Flon wanted to tend to the Eldertree because he hopes it will bloom. An old legend tells of a man who looked for his long lost father, and found his father under this tree. Turns out that the father had long been looking for him as well, and they were both drawn in by the blooming beauty of the Eldertree. Ever since then, the Eldertree has symbolized people coming together, old and new.
Flon dreams of having a great picnic under the tree once all is said and done. With Elliot having cleared the beasts around the tree, Flon can now keep taming the land to help it bloom!
