Calotesia asks for Elliot's help in restoring a history passed down in her family. She asks you to find a magical artifact located in the Forest Ruins.

Calotesia's History Lesson Walkthrough
[1] Talk to Calotesia
Calotesia could be spotted inside her lab in Littlehope Village. She tells you that she's been trying to restore a piece of text that's been passed down for generations. She's managed to decipher a piece of it; the text references a magical artifact that might lead to treasure. Calotesia suggests that it might be located in the Forest Ruins inside a chest with a false bottom.
[2] Head to the Forest
Follow the quest marker and head northwest of Littlehope Village.
Head down the stairs where you'll arrive at the Monster Trail 1
[3] Make you way to the entrance of the Ruins
Once you arrive at Monster Trail 1. Make your way to the other side by using the left-most path.
When you make it to the other side, proceed to the entrance of the building to your left.
[4] Find the Treasure Chest
The treasure chest is located on the second floor of the ruins. Use the left path to make your way up the stairs.
There are green plants surrounding the ruins that you can use as a trampoline, allowing you to jump higher.
Continue pressing forward until you see a moving platform. Time your jump so that you can proceed to the pathway with 3 pillars. Jump over the pillars then head down.
Head up the stairs to the second floor.
The second floor has two sets of columns. Go to the columns on the left.
Jump on the plant to get to the treasure chest and retrieve the artifact.
[5] Return to Calotesia
After giving the rusty artifact to Calotesia, she tells you that it is exactly how it was described in the texts. She beams with delight at how she was able to restore a piece of history. She lectures on the importance of preserving the knowledge of Magic as it would benefit the future generations.

As thanks for helping her, Calotesia cleans up the artifact you gave her and rewards it to you. The Better-Weapon Needle is useful if you want to find stronger weapons in your journey.
