How to Defeat Demise the Destroyer Walkthrough

This boss fight has two phases

• Phase 1

[1] Aim the Phoenix Fire Towards Demise the Destroyer

The first phase of this boss is a simple chase sequence. Elliot will control the Phoenix while Faie directs the Phoenix Fire. Aim at the glowing stomach to deal damage. Enemies will sometimes spawn so dispatch them quickly!

• Phase 2

[1] Target the Glowing Stomach

The second phase of the fight is where things get intense as Demise the Destroyer has three health bars. Its weakspot is the glowing stomach protected by a shield. When the shield is up, focus your attacks on its claws. Use bombs for maximum area of effect damage!

[2] Use Faie's Copy Ability

Faie's Copy Ability maximizes your damage output so use it as much as you can.

[3] Exercise Caution

Demise the Destroyer's attacks are wide enough to cover most of the stage so sprint or guard accordingly. As you wittle down its health, Demise the Destroyer becomes more aggressive and will deal more damage so be wary.

Its most dangerous attack is when it charges up a sphere of energy that fires lasers at you while growing at the same time. This attack shows up when Demise the Destroyer is down to its final health bar. You can avoid it by destroying the sphere before it grows!

[4] Request for A Revive

Should you die during the second phase of the boss fight, request for a revival to trigger an emotional cutscene. You will be granted with continuous healing and limitless total guard. This will help you turn the tides against Demise the Destroyer!
