How to Defeat Grandslygge Walkthrough

[1] Attack the Slug Carrying the Core

Your objective for this boss fight is to attack the green core. Attack the slug carrying it and it will spit it out. Deal as much damage to the core as you can before another slug swallows it.

[2] Burn Down the Grass

The slugs will spew out goo, which will cause a thick patch of grass to grow. The grass will hamper your movement, so burn it down using Faie's ignite, Magicite, or, alternatively, a Chain and Sickle.

[3] Be Aware of its Second Phase

Grandslygge will become stronger once its health gets low enough. It will launch lightning arcs toward you, so guard it.

Grandslygge is located within the Grandtree during the Age of Budding.

Grandslygge Rewards

Grandslygge drops Magicite Fragments upon defeat. Make sure to pick them up!

The gate inside the arena will open and inside is a red chest. Open it and you'll be rewarded with Dryacite. You'll need this item to achieve the true ending.
